Between 2022 and 2024, I published four books in the Life is a Story series at Story.one. Each of these works tells of the universal themes that touch us all: hope, memory, strokes of fate and the strength to carry on.
1. Wingbeats of Life (2022)
This book marked the beginning of my journey as an author. It is a collection of short stories that focuses on the ups and downs of life - the small, seemingly inconspicuous moments and the big turning points that change everything. This is about life in all its facets: intense, unexpected and full of emotions.
2. Wingbeats of Memory (2023)
In the second part of the "Wingbeats" book series, I delve into the world of memories - how they shape us, form our self-image and influence our entire lives. Each short story plays with the question: What happens when we see our past with new eyes? Which experiences and people leave indelible marks on us?
3. Interred Secrets (2023)
My third work, "Interred Secrets," is less poetic - it goes straight into the depths of the human soul. It tells the first part of the moving story of my father, who was confronted with severe blows of fate as a child. Long-buried, dark family secrets gradually come to light. Themes such as abuse, suicidal thoughts and the constant fear that was omnipresent in his family shape the narrative. At the same time, the bitter, inner struggle is at the center - the struggle to find one's own strength despite all the pain, to face one's demons and to always muster the courage to carry on.
4. Wingbeats of Hope (2024)
My fourth book is again a collection of short stories - this time the focus is on hope, the strength that carries us even in the darkest moments. But it is also about courage and the ability to rediscover yourself again and again. Many of the stories are inspired by my trip to Australia, where the breathtaking landscapes and experiences opened my eyes to new perspectives.
